A fast filter coffee machine built for marine use, the BRAVILOR BONOMAT MATIC delivers hot coffee on demand without the delay of manual brewing. Instead of a boiler, it uses a flow-through heating element that warms water as it passes, so the first cup is ready within seconds of switching on. The water is forced through a paper or metal filter holding ground coffee, extracting flavour and aroma while leaving grounds behind. This method produces a clean, sediment-free brew at a steady rate, allowing the crew to draw multiple cups in quick succession without refilling or waiting for a fresh batch.
To operate, connect the machine to a water supply, place a filter in the pan, add ground coffee, and set the decanters on their racks beneath the outlets. Switch on; the machine heats the water and begins brewing automatically. Once the desired quantity is reached, the decanters can be removed and kept warm on the racks or served immediately. The marine fixation set secures the unit against movement caused by the ship's motion, keeping the hot decanters stable during rough seas.
The MATIC is constructed from stainless steel for corrosion resistance in salt air. It includes two stainless steel decanters, a filter pan, decanter racks, and the marine fixation set. The controls consist of a power switch and a brew button, allowing the operator to start and stop the flow of coffee as needed.
With a power rating of 2.14 kW, the machine draws a moderate load suitable for standard shipboard circuits. Its dual voltage capability—230 V or 110-127 V—allows installation on vessels with either electrical system without modification. The compact footprint of 195 mm depth, 406 mm width, and 446 mm height fits easily into galley worktops or counter spaces, leaving room for other equipment.
Cleaning involves rinsing the filter pan after each use to remove coffee grounds, washing the decanters with warm water and detergent, and periodically descaling the internal water path to prevent mineral build-up. The stainless steel surfaces can be wiped down with a damp cloth to maintain appearance and hygiene.
The MATIC is supplied as a single model, ready for marine environments with all necessary accessories included.
