Evaporator fan motor Tefcold SpareParts 13446

An evaporator fan motor keeps refrigeration units working evenly by driving a small but essential fan inside the cabinet. The fan circulates air across the evaporator coil, where refrigerant absorbs heat from the air. Without this airflow, cold air would settle at the bottom, leaving warmer air at the top and creating uneven temperatures that spoil food or force the compressor to work harder. The motor's fixed speed of 1300 rpm matches the coil's cooling capacity, delivering steady airflow to every shelf and preventing hot spots that disrupt storage conditions.

Once the refrigeration unit starts, the motor powers the fan blades, drawing air through the coil and pushing it back into the cabinet. The operator does not adjust the speed—it remains at 1300 rpm to maintain consistent performance. When the unit cycles off, the motor stops, and the fan gradually comes to a halt.

This spare motor is built to replace a failed unit in Tefcold refrigeration equipment, including cold rooms, display cabinets, and under-counter units. It restores the original airflow and cooling performance without modification.

The motor's construction ensures compatibility with Tefcold's evaporator systems, making it a direct replacement for the original part. It fits seamlessly into the existing setup, requiring no additional adjustments or components.

Cleaning and upkeep are minimal, as the motor operates within the sealed refrigeration system. Regular inspection of the fan blades for dust or obstruction ensures optimal airflow, but no further maintenance is typically required.

The catalogue lists this part in the refrigeration spares section, under evaporator components.
