A fully automatic espresso machine grinds coffee beans, tamps the grounds, extracts the shot and releases the puck in one continuous cycle. The built-in grinder meters the dose, the brew group compresses it to a precise density, and hot water at pressure forces through the bed to produce crema-topped espresso. This process eliminates manual dosing and tamping, so each cup starts from the same measured quantity of fresh grounds and the same controlled extraction time, giving consistent strength and flavour across every serving.
The Ergo One Touch follows this sequence without operator intervention. The user selects the drink—espresso, lungo or Americano—from the touch panel, places a cup under the spout, and presses start. The machine grinds, tamps, brews and dispenses the shot. For milk-based drinks, the intelligent steam wand iSteam is used separately: the operator positions a jug of cold milk under the wand, activates the steam function, and the wand injects steam at the correct angle and flow to create micro-foam without manual adjustment.
Construction is designed for medium to high volume service. The brew group, grinder and water circuit are housed in a stainless-steel body that stands on a worktop. The touch panel is positioned at eye level for easy reading, and the steam wand extends from the front for convenient access during milk texturing.
Controls consist of a touch-sensitive display and a rotary selector. The display shows drink options, maintenance prompts and error messages, while the selector scrolls through the menu and confirms selections. The steam wand is activated by a separate button on the front panel.
The absence of a milk cooler means the machine is configured for sites where milk is stored in a separate refrigerated unit. This reduces the footprint and simplifies cleaning, as there are no internal milk lines or cooling coils to sanitise.
Cleaning follows from the parts present. The brew group and grinder require daily rinsing to remove coffee oils and grounds. The drip tray and drip grid are removable for washing, and the steam wand has an automatic purge cycle to clear residual milk after each use. The water tank is accessible from the top for refilling and descaling.
The Ergo One Touch is listed in the catalogue under fully automatic espresso machines for medium to high volume service.
