These display cases offer an efficient solution for presenting products attractively without taking up additional store space. Installation is usually relatively simple, as they integrate directly into existing surfaces.
A neutral-temperature display case keeps prepared food, pastries or chilled desserts at ambient room conditions while shielding them from dust, draughts and handling. The unit sits flush within a counter or island, so customers view the items through a glass front without reaching over a raised barrier. This arrangement saves floor space and keeps the counter surface clear for service or till operations.
Inside the case, two or more shelves hold trays, plates or individual portions. Each shelf rests on adjustable brackets, allowing the operator to vary the gap between tiers to suit tall cakes, stacked boxes or shallow platters. Double-glazed panels form the front and sides, trapping a layer of still air that slows heat transfer and reduces condensation. The glass remains clear even in warm or humid environments, so the display stays bright and inviting throughout service.
To load or restock, the operator opens a rear panel that gives full access to every shelf. LED strips mounted beneath each shelf cast an even glow across the items below, eliminating shadows and making colours appear more vivid. The lighting runs on low voltage, so it stays cool and draws minimal power from the kitchen circuit.
The case measures 600 mm square on the outside and requires a cabinet opening of 560 mm by 560 mm. The surrounding cabinet material can be up to 100 mm thick, so the unit fits into standard worktop cut-outs or bespoke joinery. Once installed, the flush front creates a continuous surface that is easy to wipe down and keeps the display looking integrated rather than added on.
Cleaning involves removing the shelves, wiping the glass with a damp cloth and dusting the LED strips. The rear access panel lifts away for deeper cleaning or bulb replacement, ensuring the case stays hygienic and well-lit with minimal downtime.
