A pizza dough press flattens dough between two heated plates, replacing hand-stretching with consistent pressure and temperature. The top and bottom plates heat the dough evenly, softening it so it spreads without tearing. Pressure applied by the motor shapes the dough to the plate diameter, while heat sets the surface texture. This method produces uniform bases faster than rolling pins, reducing preparation time in busy kitchens.
The PF 33 model presses dough between Ø 33 cm Teflon-coated plates. The operator places a dough ball on the lower plate, selects the pressing time, and starts the cycle. The motor lowers the upper plate, applying controlled pressure until the dough reaches the set thickness. Independent temperature controls for each plate allow adjustment for different dough types, ensuring the surface crisps or stays soft as needed. The Teflon coating prevents sticking, so flour can be used instead of oil, matching traditional dough handling.
The press is built with a steel frame and Teflon-coated aluminium plates. An adaptive self-braking motor system refines plate positioning over repeated cycles, maintaining precision even after prolonged use. The control panel includes separate temperature dials for the top and bottom plates, a timer for pressing duration, and a start button.
The 3.75 kW power rating requires a 400 V three-phase supply, typical for professional kitchen equipment. The 96 kg weight means the press is floor-standing and moved with a trolley. The 470 mm depth, 650 mm width and 830 mm height fit a standard worktop space, allowing placement near dough preparation areas.
Cleaning involves wiping the Teflon plates with a damp cloth after use to remove flour residue. The motor and control panel should be kept dry, and the plates inspected periodically for wear to ensure consistent performance.
The PF 33 model is designed for dough weights between 130 g and 250 g, producing bases suitable for standard pizzas. It is categorised under professional pizza preparation equipment.
