A refrigerated display case keeps chilled food visible while maintaining a safe temperature. Static cooling circulates cold air naturally from a finned evaporator at the back, eliminating vibration or noise. A thermostat cycles the compressor to hold temperatures between +2 °C and +6 °C, slowing bacterial growth without freezing delicate items like salads or pastries.

The operator lifts the tempered-glass cover to load food onto the glass shelf or stainless-steel base. An electronic thermostat maintains the chosen temperature within the +2/+6 °C range, with a safety timer controlling compressor operation. LED lighting activates when the cover opens, illuminating contents without adding heat. The hermetic compressor and Danfoss turbo-ventilated condenser work together to remove heat entering through the glass, ensuring quiet and efficient cooling.

The case features a stainless-steel frame with coloured panels in black, red, silver, oak, or white. The tempered-glass cover resists impacts, scratches, and acids, while smooth interior surfaces allow quick cleaning. A built-in drainage system collects condensation and spillage, directing it to a removable tray. Hidden sensors monitor the cover position and temperature, preventing damage and stopping the compressor when the case is open.

The 230 V supply connects to a standard single-phase circuit, using 180 W for cooling and 90 W for lighting and controls. The 1438 mm width fits standard worktops, while the 395 mm depth allows space behind. The 360 mm height keeps the display at customer eye level. The refrigerant is R600a, a low global-warming hydrocarbon, and the unit is rated climate class 3 for reliable operation.

Cleaning involves lifting the glass cover, removing the shelf, and wiping surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The drainage tray is emptied and rinsed weekly, and the rear condenser fins are brushed monthly to maintain efficiency.
