A refrigerated display cabinet keeps chilled food visible and safe without opening doors. The remote refrigeration unit pumps cold refrigerant through a coil inside the cabinet, removing heat from the air. Static cooling circulates the chilled air naturally, avoiding the drying effect of forced air and preserving the texture of pastries, desserts and plated dishes. The glass front and LED lighting create a bright, inviting showcase while the refrigeration system maintains a steady temperature between 2 and 6 °C, extending the shelf life of ready-to-serve items.

The operator loads up to four GN 1/3 gastronorm trays through the hinged front glass. Adjustable legs level the cabinet on uneven floors, and the 840 mm worktop provides space for plating or small equipment. A 2 m refrigerant line connects the display case to the remote unit, allowing the compressor and condenser to be placed away from customer areas, reducing noise and heat in the front of house.

The cabinet is built from AISI 304 stainless steel, chosen for corrosion resistance and hygiene. Tempered glass panels withstand daily opening and closing without cracking. High-power LED lighting illuminates the contents without adding heat, keeping energy use low. The static cooling system requires no fans, so there are no moving parts inside the display area to collect dust or require maintenance.

Controls are minimal: the remote refrigeration unit has a thermostat that maintains the set temperature automatically. The 230 V supply powers both the cabinet lighting and the refrigeration unit, drawing 180 W for cooling and 85 W for the display. The 395 mm depth fits against most back bars or counters, while the 270 mm height keeps the worktop at a comfortable serving level.

Cleaning is straightforward: the stainless-steel interior and glass can be wiped with standard sanitising solutions. The static cooling coil is accessible from the rear for occasional dusting. The remote refrigeration unit should be serviced annually to check refrigerant levels and compressor health.

The SK4GR is a single model with a remote refrigeration unit and static cooling, designed for climate class 3 environments. It uses R600a refrigerant, which has a low environmental impact and high energy efficiency.
