This professional refrigerated display case features a special body design with front and rear folding doors, providing convenient access and allowing it to be used in self-service mode. It is ideal for restaurants, cafés, pastry shops, and other retail establishments where both functionality and visual appeal are important.
Temperature range: +2 / +6 °C
A refrigerated display case keeps chilled goods visible and accessible while maintaining a steady low temperature. Static cooling circulates cold air naturally without fans, preventing dehydration and preserving the texture of unwrapped items such as pastries, salads or deli meats. The evaporator coil cools the air inside the insulated cabinet; as the air cools it sinks, creating gentle circulation that covers every shelf evenly. Because there are no moving parts inside the display area, the system runs quietly and reduces the risk of airborne contamination. The SAYL S8NP is designed for self-service. Four sliding PMMA doors open from the front, allowing customers to reach in without disturbing the cold air curtain. Each door can be removed for cleaning, and the interior is shaped without sharp corners so that spills and crumbs are easily wiped away. An adjustable electronic thermostat with a digital readout sets the temperature between +2 °C and +6 °C, covering the safe storage range for ready-to-eat foods. Hidden sensors monitor the temperature continuously and adjust the compressor automatically, so the operator simply sets the desired value and leaves the unit to maintain it. To load the case, the operator slides the doors open, places the chilled products on the stainless-steel shelves, and closes the doors. LED lighting inside the cabinet illuminates the goods evenly, drawing attention without generating heat. The compressor, mounted at the base, runs quietly and is cooled by a ventilated double turbo condenser that prevents overheating even during long service periods. Adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors, ensuring the doors slide smoothly and the case remains stable. The outer case and inner tank are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of sanitising. The doors combine PMMA with tempered glass for durability and clarity. A built-in drainage system collects condensation and directs it to an external outlet, eliminating the need to mop inside the cabinet. The electronic thermostat controls the cooling cycle, while the digital display shows the current temperature. No other controls are required; the sensors and compressor handle all adjustments automatically. The 230 V supply matches standard UK commercial circuits, allowing the case to be plugged in without special wiring. A cooling power of 180 W and equipment power of 95 W indicate a modest load on the electrical supply, suitable for continuous operation. The footprint of 1680 mm wide by 380 mm deep fits along a standard worktop or counter, while the 245 mm height keeps the display at eye level for most customers. The temperature range of +2 °C to +6 °C is tailored for chilled ready-to-eat foods, excluding frozen goods or items that require temperatures below zero. Cleaning involves removing the sliding doors, wiping the interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and rinsing the drainage system periodically. The stainless-steel surfaces resist staining and can be sanitised with standard kitchen chemicals. The LED strips cast a cool, shadow-free glow across every shelf, letting customers see the true colour of chilled pastries and pre-packaged salads without opening the doors. The S8NP is a single model with no variants. It is classified as a refrigerated display case for self-service applications in professional catering environments.
