This refrigerated countertop display keeps food chilled and visible at the point of sale. A compressor moves refrigerant through coils beneath the pan wells, removing heat from the food and releasing it at the rear. A fan circulates air across the coils, cooling it before it enters the display area. The cooled air surrounds the pans, maintaining a consistent temperature without freezing the contents. This approach keeps food fresh and accessible, helping to reduce waste and improve service efficiency during busy periods.

The unit accommodates two GN1/3 gastronorm pans and one GN2/8 pan. The operator sets the desired temperature using the control panel, and the unit automatically maintains it by cycling the compressor and fan as required. The transparent front and top allow customers to view the food without opening the unit, helping to preserve the internal temperature. When food is removed or added, the door or sliding panel is opened briefly to minimise temperature changes.

Constructed from stainless steel, the unit features an aluminium evaporator coil and a sealed compressor. The exterior has a brushed satin finish, which resists fingerprints and scratches. The interior is lined with food-safe plastic, designed to hold the pans securely and allow easy cleaning.

The control panel includes a digital thermostat for temperature adjustment and a defrost timer to prevent ice build-up on the coils. The temperature mode of 0.25 ensures precise control around the set point without excessive cycling.

With a width of 940 mm, the unit provides space for three pans side by side, fitting standard countertop depths. The 400 mm depth allows placement against a wall or backsplash without overhang. The 306 mm height positions the display at eye level for customers while enabling staff to load and unload pans comfortably. The weight ranges from 22 to 38 kg, reflecting the unit's construction and refrigerant charge, and requires a stable, level surface to avoid vibration or noise.

The voltage requirement of 0.37 kW indicates a low power draw, suitable for a standard plug on a dedicated circuit. This reduces the load on kitchen electrical systems, allowing continuous operation without issues.

Cleaning involves removing the pans and wiping the interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The evaporator coils should be cleaned periodically to remove dust and maintain efficient heat exchange. The exterior is wiped with a soft cloth to preserve its appearance and prevent corrosion. The defrost cycle melts any ice on the coils, with water draining through a rear outlet that should be checked regularly to prevent blockages.

Designed for front-of-house use, this unit displays chilled food directly to customers.
