The SAMMIC SAS-6001 is a professional cutlery dryer-polisher designed for hygienic finishing of cutlery. This appliance dries and polishes cutlery using heat and a specialised polishing product, followed by UVC sterilisation.
Cutlery is placed into the machine, where a carrousel system, coated in stainless steel, moves the items through the drying and polishing stages. Integrated heating elements raise the temperature of the polishing product, facilitating the drying process. Following this, a UVC-ray germicide lamp is activated to sterilise the cutlery. The machine signals when the process is complete, and also provides indicators for heating element activation, the need to replace the polishing product, and UVC lamp replacement.
The temperature of the polishing product is regulated by a probe, ensuring consistent operating conditions. The machine is constructed from stainless steel, including the drying tank, and features a rounded, stainless-steel coated cutlery carrousel. An intuitive control board allows for straightforward operation. The polishing product cycle includes an automatic stop function after use.
Key specifications include a power consumption of 1.26 kW and a voltage requirement of 400 V. The unit measures 630 mm in length, 693 mm in width, and 783 mm in height, with a total weight of 130 kg. It is capable of processing approximately 8000 pieces of cutlery per hour.
For maintenance, the UVC-ray lamp can be disconnected for cleaning and servicing. The machine is equipped with signals to indicate probe breaking and when the UVC lamp needs replacement. The polishing product cycle features an automatic stop.
