A cover for internal tubing protects the refrigeration circuit inside professional cooling equipment. The tubing carries refrigerant between the compressor, condenser and evaporator. Without a cover, the tubes are exposed to dust, grease and accidental knocks that can damage the insulation or the copper itself, leading to leaks or inefficient cooling. The cover also keeps the interior organised, preventing tools or stored items from resting against the tubing and causing wear.

The cover fits over the tubing once the refrigeration system is assembled and tested. It clips or screws into place along the inside of the cabinet, following the path of the tubes. On some models it forms a continuous shield; on others it is a series of panels that snap together.
