The cotton candy machine makes the preparation process quick, convenient and efficient. It is equipped with a removable bowl that is dishwasher-safe, as well as clear power and heating control buttons with indicator lights for easy use. For added convenience, the device has a practical drawer for storing sticks, sugar and colouring, keeping everything tidy and all essentials in one place.
The operating principle of a cotton candy machine involves heating sugar until it liquefies, then spinning it at high speed through small perforations. As the molten sugar is flung outwards, it cools rapidly in the air, solidifying into fine threads that are collected to form the characteristic fluffy candy.
To operate, place the machine on a stable surface. The carbon steel body houses the main components. A removable stainless-steel bowl, secured by four fixings, is where the spun sugar collects. This bowl is dishwasher-safe for straightforward cleaning. A sugar dispenser is included with the machine, and a drawer is provided for storing accessories. The machine features separate, clearly marked switches for the main power and the heating element, each fitted with an indicator lamp to show operational status. An overload fuse is integrated to protect the motor from damage.
The construction utilises carbon steel for the main body, with a removable stainless-steel bowl. The machine operates on a 230 V supply and has a power consumption of 1.13 kW. Its dimensions are 520 mm in length, 520 mm in width, and 503 mm in height. The total weight of the unit is 10.25 kg.
Cleaning of the stainless-steel bowl can be done in a dishwasher. Specific upkeep instructions for other parts would depend on the nature of their use.
A separate lid, article 282755, is available for purchase if required.
