A convection oven stand built to hold eight full-size gastronorm trays in a single tier, keeping hot food at worktop height for plating or carving. The stand does not heat or cool; it provides a stable, organised surface where trays slide in and out of the oven without lifting. Guide rails run the length of the frame, so each tray is aligned and cannot tip or jam when the oven door is opened. The anti-slide pin at the rear stops trays moving once they are in place, preventing spills when the oven is moved or the stand is nudged during service.
The operator loads the oven with trays, sets the oven programme, and then transfers the trays to the stand once cooking is complete. Trays rest on the rails, not on the frame itself, so air can circulate underneath and the food stays hot longer. When the stand is not holding hot trays, the two removable shelves can be fitted to create extra work surface or storage for cold ingredients, utensils or plates. The shelves slide out for cleaning or to free up space when the oven is in use.
The frame is welded from stainless steel tube in three sizes: 40×40 mm for the legs, 40×20 mm for the main frame, and 25×25 mm for the rails and cross-bracing. The hygienic welds are ground smooth to eliminate crevices where food debris could collect. Four heavy-duty feet are adjustable over a 65 mm range, allowing the stand to be levelled on uneven floors or raised to match the height of adjacent worktops. Each foot locks with a threaded collar to prevent vibration from moving the stand during service.
The footprint of 830 by 580 mm fits directly under most convection ovens of the same tray capacity, so the stand can be positioned close to the oven door for a smooth transfer of trays. The 700 mm height places the tray surface at a comfortable working level for chefs standing at the worktop. The total weight of the stand is carried by the four legs, so it can be moved with a pallet truck or trolley when empty, but is stable enough to remain in place during service without anchoring.
Cleaning is limited to the parts the entry names. The stainless steel frame and rails are wiped down with a damp cloth and detergent after each service. The removable shelves are taken out and washed separately. The adjustable feet are cleaned around the threads and checked for debris that could prevent smooth adjustment. No disassembly is required beyond removing the shelves.
