A juice machine extracts liquid from citrus fruit by pressing halved oranges, lemons or grapefruits against a rotating reamer. The reamer is a ridged cone that spins at controlled speed, breaking the pulp and releasing the juice without shredding the peel or seeds. The juice flows through a strainer into a collecting tray while the spent fruit is ejected into a separate container. Automatic water filling connects the machine to a mains tap, allowing continuous operation without manual refilling of the water reservoir that rinses the reamer and strainer between each fruit, keeping the juice clean and the machine ready for the next load.
To operate the SL2000, the operator connects the water inlet to a standard tap, plugs the machine into a 230 V single-phase supply, and switches it on. Halved fruit is placed cut-side down on the reamer; the machine starts automatically and presses the fruit against the spinning cone. Juice flows into the collecting tray while the peel is pushed into the waste container. The automatic water rinse cycle begins immediately after each fruit, clearing pulp residue from the reamer and strainer before the next piece is loaded.
The SL2000 is built with a stainless steel body and reamer, chosen for corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning. Its footprint of 297 mm depth, 601 mm width and 810 mm height fits on a standard worktop or can be mounted on a mobile stand for flexible positioning in a busy kitchen.
The 230 V, 50 Hz voltage requirement matches the standard single-phase supply in British commercial kitchens, allowing the machine to run on the same circuit as other countertop equipment without additional wiring. The compact dimensions ensure it occupies minimal space while handling continuous juice extraction for breakfast service, buffets or juice bars.
Cleaning follows from the construction: the stainless steel reamer, strainer and collecting tray are removable for washing in a sink or dishwasher. The automatic water rinse reduces manual cleaning frequency, but the waste container must be emptied regularly to prevent overflow during high-volume use.
