The operator fills the tank through a wide opening at the top, then sets the thermostat to the desired temperature. The 18.9 litre capacity provides enough volume for continuous service during peak demand, reducing the need to refill during service. The unit is moved by lifting from the base; its weight keeps it stable on the worktop without sliding.

Cleaning involves emptying the tank, rinsing with warm water and a mild detergent, then wiping the interior and exterior surfaces. The tap is removable for thorough cleaning, and the lid lifts off for access to the tank interior.
