A filter coffee decanter keeps freshly brewed coffee at serving temperature without continuing to extract bitter compounds from the grounds. The insulated vessel receives the hot coffee directly from the filter machine, separating the liquid from the spent grounds so the flavour remains balanced and the coffee stays hot for the next round of service.

The operator places the decanter beneath the filter machine's outlet, starts the brew cycle, and watches the coffee flow into the vessel. Once the cycle finishes, the decanter is moved to the serving station or kept on a warming plate if the unit is fitted with one. The transparent body lets staff monitor the remaining volume at a glance, so refills can be timed without running empty during service.

The 1.8 litre capacity allows a single decanter to hold enough coffee for a full filter machine cycle, reducing the need to swap vessels mid-brew. The volume is sized to match standard commercial filter coffee makers, so the decanter fits directly under the outlet without spillage or overflow.

Cleaning follows from the materials: the glass body is removed from its base and washed separately, while the plastic lid and handle are wiped down with a damp cloth. The absence of moving parts or heating elements keeps maintenance simple and quick between shifts.
