A vacuum flask that brews coffee directly from the machine into an insulated chamber, eliminating the need for a separate warming plate. The double-walled construction creates a vacuum between the inner and outer layers, which stops heat transfer by conduction and convection. Only radiation remains, and the polished stainless steel surfaces reflect most of that back into the liquid. The result is coffee that stays at serving temperature for hours without scorching or reheating, preserving flavour and aroma while cutting energy use to zero once the brew is complete.
The flask sits beneath the coffee machine's outlet, the brew-through lid already in place. When the machine starts, hot coffee flows straight through the lid into the flask, filling it without spilling. The lid seals automatically as the flask is lifted away, so the contents stay hot and fresh until the last cup is poured. No additional heating element is needed; the vacuum insulation does the work instead.
Loading is a single step: position the flask under the machine, ensure the lid is secure, and begin the brew cycle. The operator watches the level through the transparent window on the lid, stopping the machine when the desired volume is reached. The flask is then removed and carried to the service counter or buffet, where it remains hot for the duration of service without further attention.
The body is made of stainless steel, chosen for its durability, resistance to staining, and ease of cleaning. The vacuum seal is permanent, requiring no maintenance, and the polished finish reflects heat while resisting fingerprints and smudges. The brew-through lid is also stainless steel, with a silicone gasket that seals the flask when it is lifted from the machine.
Controls are minimal: the lid has a single lever that opens the pour spout, allowing coffee to be dispensed without removing the lid. The spout is designed to prevent drips, so the flask can be tilted and poured without spilling.
The volume range of 1.0 to 2.0 litres suits different service scales, from small cafés to larger catering operations. A 1.0 litre flask holds enough for a small group, while the 2.0 litre version serves a full shift without refilling. The diameter varies to fit different machine models, ensuring the flask sits securely beneath the outlet without wobbling or misalignment.
Cleaning is straightforward: the flask and lid are rinsed with warm water after each use, and the stainless steel surfaces are wiped with a soft cloth. The silicone gasket on the lid can be removed for deeper cleaning if needed, though it rarely requires more than a rinse. The vacuum insulation means no condensation forms inside, so there is no risk of mould or stale odours developing between uses.
Two sizes are available: 1.0 litre and 2.0 litre, each with a corresponding diameter to match the coffee machine's outlet. The flask is designed specifically for use with BRAVILOR BONOMAT coffee machines, ensuring a secure fit and seamless operation.
The product is listed in the catering equipment catalogue under coffee machines and accessories, where it is grouped with other brewing and serving solutions for professional kitchens.
