A mobile module built for professional catering workflows, combining a smooth ceramic worktop that retains and distributes heat evenly across its surface. The ceramic top eliminates cold spots, allowing food to be kept at serving temperature without scorching or drying out. Heat is generated beneath the ceramic plate and conducted upwards, creating a stable, low-maintenance surface that responds quickly to temperature adjustments.
The module is designed to be moved between stations or locations, with lockable castors that secure it in place during use. Its frame and worktop are fully customisable in size, material and colour to match kitchen requirements or branding. Additional equipment such as induction hobs, bain-maries or heated shelves can be integrated into the module during assembly, allowing it to be configured for specific tasks like holding, plating or finishing.
Operation begins by positioning the module where needed and locking the castors. The ceramic worktop is then heated to the required temperature and monitored via the built-in controls. Food is placed directly on the surface or in serving dishes, where it remains warm without further attention. Once service is complete, the unit is switched off and allowed to cool before being moved or cleaned.
The construction consists of a sturdy frame supporting the ceramic worktop, with internal insulation to minimise heat loss. The module is supplied without fixed equipment, allowing the operator to specify the exact configuration of hobs, wells or shelves required. Controls are mounted on the front panel and include temperature adjustment for the ceramic surface and any additional fitted appliances.
The customisable footprint allows the module to fit into tight spaces or expand to accommodate larger setups. Its weight ensures stability during use while remaining light enough for one person to manoeuvre. The ceramic worktop is non-porous and resistant to staining, making it suitable for frequent use with sauces, oils and acidic ingredients.
Cleaning involves wiping the ceramic surface with a damp cloth once cooled, removing any food debris or spills. The worktop does not require seasoning or special treatments, and the smooth finish prevents residue from sticking. The frame and castors are cleaned with standard kitchen sanitiser, with no additional maintenance required beyond regular checks of the locking mechanism.
The module is built to order, with size, material and equipment options selected at the time of purchase. No standard configurations are supplied; each unit is assembled according to the customer's specifications.
