Canteen accessory MBM V500

A vegetable trolley keeps fresh produce organised and mobile between the delivery bay, store room and worktop. Instead of lifting crates or sacks, the operator loads the produce into the trolley's open container and wheels it to the next station. The low centre of gravity and wide wheelbase prevent tipping, while the smooth-rolling castors let one person move several kilograms of vegetables without strain.

The sequence is straightforward: load the vegetables into the stainless-steel bin, grip the handle, push the trolley to the required area, and unload. Four rotating wheels allow movement in any direction, so the trolley can be turned in tight corridors or positioned flush against a work surface. When not in use, the trolley stands securely on its wheels and does not require wall mounting or additional support.

Construction is stainless steel throughout, chosen for its resistance to moisture and cleaning chemicals. The 140-litre capacity provides a single container large enough for daily vegetable prep without occupying the floor space of multiple crates. The overall footprint of 660 mm by 850 mm fits standard kitchen aisles and can be stored against a wall or in a corner when empty.

Cleaning follows from the materials and design: the stainless-steel bin is wiped down with a damp cloth and sanitiser after each use, while the wheels and handle are checked for debris that could impede movement. No disassembly is needed, and the smooth surfaces prevent food particles from becoming trapped.

The V500 is a single model without variants, designed for general vegetable storage and transport in commercial kitchens.
