A backbar freezer counter keeps bottled drinks chilled at the point of service without taking floor space from the main kitchen. Instead of a compressor mounted beneath the unit, a sealed cooling monoblock sits on top, drawing heat out of the insulated cabinet and expelling it into the room. The monoblock can be swapped in under a minute, so downtime is kept to the time it takes to slide the old one out and the new one in.

Two full-extension drawers run on stainless-steel telescopic rails that extend 110% of the drawer depth, giving clear access to every bottle without reaching. The rails are self-levelling, so the drawer stays horizontal even when fully open. A temperature range of -14 to -5 °C keeps bottled drinks ready for service without freezing them solid, while the 130 L volume holds two standard levels of Bordeaux-style bottles.

To use the counter, the operator sets the desired temperature on the control panel, plugs the unit into a 230 V supply, and loads the drawers. Once the cabinet reaches the set point, the monoblock cycles on and off to maintain the temperature. Bottles are removed as needed; the drawers slide out smoothly and close quietly, so service is not interrupted.

The cabinet is constructed from stainless steel, with an insulated interior and a cooling monoblock that sits on top of the unit. The two drawers run on full-extension telescopic rails, and the control panel is mounted on the front for easy access.

The 230 V voltage requirement means the unit plugs into a standard single-phase circuit, the type commonly found in British commercial kitchens and bars.
