Built-in module under the bar counter with 4 drawers and 1 door.
A backbar cooling counter keeps bottled drinks at cellar temperature behind the bar, ready for service without taking floor space from the customer area. The refrigeration unit pulls heat from the insulated cabinet and expels it outside, maintaining a steady low temperature that preserves wine and beer without freezing them. Because the heat is removed continuously, the unit can hold a larger volume than a domestic fridge of the same footprint, and the temperature stays even across every shelf and drawer.
The operator loads bottles onto the two fixed shelves at the top, designed for Bordeaux wine bottles, and organises smaller items in the four full-extension drawers below. Each drawer runs on stainless steel telescopic rails that extend 110% of the drawer depth, so the entire contents slide out for easy access. The single door at the bottom seals the cooled space and gives access to the lowest shelf or drawer when needed. Once the unit is plugged in and the temperature set between +4 °C and +10 °C, the cooling system runs automatically, keeping the interior within the chosen range.
The cabinet is built as a single insulated box with a removable monoblock refrigeration unit mounted at the rear. The monoblock contains the compressor, condenser and evaporator in one assembly, so it can be swapped in under a minute if maintenance is needed. Drawers and shelves are stainless steel, and the telescopic rails are also stainless steel for durability and smooth operation.
Controls are minimal: a thermostat sets the temperature between +4 °C and +10 °C, covering the range from light chilling to cellar storage. The 230 V supply connects to a standard single-phase circuit, drawing 2.8 A and 0.293 kW, a load that fits within the capacity of a typical commercial kitchen circuit. The 390 L volume allows storage of over a hundred bottles, depending on size, while the 1810 mm width, 650 mm depth and 860 mm height place the unit against the backbar, leaving the worktop clear for service.
Cleaning follows from the construction: the stainless steel drawers and shelves lift out for washing, and the telescopic rails wipe clean. The monoblock is accessed from the rear, so the front and sides remain uncluttered. The quick-change design means the refrigeration unit can be replaced without tools, reducing downtime.
The model is a single variant with four drawers and one door, configured for backbar use with telescopic rails and a quick-change monoblock.
