Built-in module under the bar counter with 4 drowers.
A backbar cooling counter keeps bottled drinks at cellar temperature while they wait to be served. Instead of a compressor built into the cabinet, this type uses a separate cooling monoblock mounted at the rear. The monoblock pumps chilled refrigerant through small-diameter pipes into an evaporator coil inside the counter. Because the coil is thin and the refrigerant flow is continuous, the temperature stays even across every shelf and drawer. The counter itself is insulated, so the cold air does not escape when the drawers are opened, and the drinks remain ready without cycling the compressor on and off repeatedly. The sequence starts with loading. Each drawer runs on full-extension stainless-steel telescopic rails, so the operator can pull it out completely and see every bottle. Two fixed shelves at the top are sized for Bordeaux wine bottles; the four drawers below hold the rest of the stock. Once the counter is filled, the thermostat is set between +4 °C and +10 °C. The cooling monoblock starts automatically and maintains the chosen temperature without further adjustment. When a bottle is needed, the drawer is opened, the bottle is removed, and the drawer is closed again. The insulation and the continuous refrigerant flow mean the temperature recovers quickly, so the next bottle is already cold. The cabinet is constructed from stainless steel, inside and out. The drawers slide on 110% extending rails, meaning the drawer box clears the front edge of the counter, giving full access to the contents. The cooling monoblock is designed for quick replacement: a service technician can swap it in under a minute without tools, so downtime is kept to a minimum. The 230 V single-phase supply matches the standard circuit in a British commercial kitchen. The 0.293 kW power rating means the counter draws a modest load, leaving capacity for other equipment on the same circuit. The 260 L volume provides space for approximately one hundred Bordeaux bottles on the shelves and drawers combined. The footprint of 1390 mm wide by 650 mm deep fits beneath most backbar counters, and the 860 mm height allows staff to reach the top shelf without stretching. The smooth stainless-steel drawer interiors and removable telescopic rails rinse clean under a tap after service. The stainless-steel surfaces wipe clean with a damp cloth, and the telescopic rails can be removed for thorough cleaning if needed. The cooling monoblock is accessed from the rear, so the front of the counter remains clear during service. This model is the four-drawer variant of the Novameta backbar cooling counter, designed for bars and restaurants that need quick access to a large number of bottled drinks at serving temperature.
