Wine refrigerator TEFCOLD TFW100S

A wine cooler maintains a steady, low temperature and high humidity to preserve wine without the fluctuations of a domestic refrigerator. The compressor circulates refrigerant through coils at the back, drawing heat from the interior and expelling it outside. An anti-vibration system isolates the compressor from the cabinet, preventing movement that could disturb sediment in the bottles. The sealed glass door keeps the temperature stable while allowing a clear view of the contents.

The TFW100S is loaded through a hinged glass door that opens to reveal six wooden shelves. Each shelf is shaped to cradle standard 750 ml bottles horizontally, keeping the cork moist and the wine in contact with it. The operator sets the desired temperature between +5 °C and +18 °C using a single control, and the cooler maintains that range automatically. The door can be hinged on the left or right to suit the kitchen layout, and the stainless steel frame and handle provide a professional finish.

The cabinet measures 295 mm deep, 570 mm wide and 860 mm high, fitting under most worktops or into a cupboard space. The 57 litre volume is sized for 19 bottles, and the 26 kg weight allows the unit to be moved by two people. The 0.09 kW power rating means it draws less current than a typical domestic fridge, reducing the load on the kitchen circuit. The voltage range of 220-240 V matches the standard UK single-phase supply, so no special wiring is required.

The interior is cooled by refrigerant R600a, a hydrocarbon with low environmental impact. The wooden shelves are removable for cleaning, and the glass door can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The stainless steel frame and handle resist fingerprints and are cleaned with a mild detergent. The reversible door hinge is adjusted with a screwdriver, and the anti-vibration mounts require no maintenance.

The TFW100S is a single-zone cooler, so all bottles are stored at the same temperature. It is finished in black and is designed for built-in or freestanding use in professional kitchens and bars.
