A ventilated freezer circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, eliminating hot spots and keeping every gastronorm tray at the same low temperature. The fan draws air over the evaporator coils, cooling it before pushing it through ducts inside the cabinet. This forced convection shortens pull-down times and maintains a uniform climate, so frozen stock stays safe without manual rotation or temperature checks.

To use the Forcold M-GN650BT-FC, load up to three GN2/1 trays on the supplied slides, set the digital thermostat between -18 °C and -22 °C, and close the reversible door. The automatic defrost cycle starts at intervals the control board calculates, melting frost off the concealed evaporator without raising the cabinet temperature. Condensation water drains to a heated pan beneath the motor compartment and evaporates, so no manual emptying is needed. The door frame heater prevents condensation on the seal, and the self-closing spring ensures the door shuts securely after each access.

The cabinet is built from stainless steel inside and out, with a 60 mm insulation layer that keeps the external panels cool to the touch. The monobloc refrigeration unit is housed in a stainless-steel compartment at the top, reducing noise and simplifying installation or replacement. Height-adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors, and the rounded internal corners make cleaning easier.

Electronic controls include a digital thermostat for precise temperature setting, a defrost timer, and an LED display that shows the current cabinet temperature. The interior LED light switches on when the door opens, illuminating every shelf without adding heat. A door lock with key secures the contents during service.

The 650 litre capacity allows storage of up to three full-size GN2/1 trays, while the external dimensions of 740 x 830 x 2010 mm fit through standard kitchen doorways. The 129 kg weight requires two people to move the unit, and the 450 W power rating draws a steady load on a 220-240 V single-phase circuit. The R290 refrigerant gas has a low environmental impact, and the automatic evaporation of condensation water removes the need for a drain connection.

Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel interior with a mild detergent, removing the tool-free door gasket for deeper cleaning, and vacuuming the condenser coils at the rear of the motor compartment. The supplied grids and slides lift out for washing, and the rounded corners prevent dirt traps.
