Static cooling draws heat from the stored items and transfers it to the refrigerating unit mounted in the upper compartment. The system uses R600a refrigerant, which efficiently absorbs heat while minimising environmental impact.

To begin, the operator sets the desired temperature on the digital thermostat. The cabinet cools the interior to the chosen level, typically between -2 °C and +8 °C, and maintains it automatically. Beverages and snacks are loaded onto the three adjustable wire grids, each measuring 530 by 540 mm. The reversible door, fitted with a self-closing spring, allows the cabinet to be positioned in either left-hand or right-hand opening layouts.
