+2°C / +8°C Refrigerated cabinets Professional Line
A refrigerated cabinet that keeps prepared food at serving-safe temperatures without freezing. Static cooling circulates chilled air through an internal fan and conveyor, spreading the cold evenly across every shelf. The refrigerating unit sits in an insulated upper compartment, keeping the motor cool and reducing noise at the worktop level. An electronic thermostat maintains the set temperature between +2 °C and +8 °C, the range that stops bacterial growth while keeping salads crisp and sauces fluid.
Loading starts with three pairs of GN2/1 slides and three matching grids supplied. Pans slide in and out without lifting, and the rounded internal corners let the air flow past every edge. The door is reversible, self-closing on a spring, and locks with a key to secure high-value stock. A heating element around the frame stops condensation forming on the seal, and a drip tray catches any water that does appear. Defrosting is automatic; melted ice drains into a collecting basin at the base, so there is no manual emptying.
The cabinet stands on height-adjustable feet, letting the operator level it on uneven floors or raise it to match a worktop. External panels are galvanised steel; the interior and door are stainless steel, which resists corrosion and wipes clean. The door gasket pulls out without tools for washing, and the grids and slides lift out for separate cleaning. A 60 mm layer of insulation keeps the cold in and the running cost down.
The 507 L volume holds up to six full-size GN2/1 pans, and the external footprint of 680 mm by 810 mm fits through standard kitchen doorways. The 118 kg weight means two people or a trolley are needed to move it. It plugs into a 220-240 V single-phase supply, drawing 220 W continuously once the temperature is reached. The cooling gas is R290, a hydrocarbon with low environmental impact.
Cleaning follows the parts the cabinet has: wipe the stainless-steel interior and door, wash the grids and slides in the sink, remove and rinse the drip tray, and pull out the door gasket to clean behind it. The collecting basin at the base needs emptying only if the defrost cycle produces more water than usual, which happens in very humid conditions.
