+2°C / +8°C Refrigerated cabinets Professional Line
A refrigerated cabinet keeps perishable food chilled by circulating cold air inside an insulated chamber. The static cooling system draws heat from the stored items and expels it through a refrigerating unit mounted in the upper compartment. A fan and internal air conveyor ensure the temperature stays even throughout the cabinet, preventing warm spots that could spoil food. This method is quieter than forced-air systems and uses less energy, making it suitable for kitchens where consistent, gentle cooling is needed without frequent door openings. To use the cabinet, load GN2/1 gastronorm trays onto the six supplied grids. Set the electronic thermostat to the desired temperature between +2 °C and +8 °C. The door closes automatically on a spring mechanism and locks with a key to secure the contents. An electrical heating element around the door frame stops condensation from forming, while a drip tray collects any moisture that does appear. The automatic defrost cycle melts ice build-up, and the resulting water evaporates in the collecting basin, removing the need to manually empty a tray. The cabinet is built with a stainless steel exterior and interior, including a bottom with rounded corners for easy cleaning. The external back and bottom panels are galvanised steel, and the 60 mm insulation keeps the cold in and energy use low. Height-adjustable feet allow the unit to sit level on uneven floors, and the reversible door can be hinged on either side to fit the kitchen layout. The door gasket is removable without tools for replacement or cleaning. The 1104 litre volume provides space for up to six full-size GN2/1 trays, organised on pairs of slides. The external dimensions of 1340 x 810 x 2010 mm mean the cabinet fits through standard kitchen doorways and takes up a worktop-length footprint. At 177 kg, it is heavy enough to stay stable but can be moved with a trolley. The 415 W power rating draws a modest load on a 220–240 V single-phase circuit, typical for professional kitchens. The R290 cooling gas is a hydrocarbon refrigerant with low environmental impact, chosen for its efficiency in static cooling systems. The seamless stainless steel interior and rounded corners let you slide out every GN2/1 gastronorm tray without snagging cloth or leaving residue behind. The tool-free door gasket can be removed for thorough cleaning or replacement. The collecting basin for defrost water should be checked periodically to ensure it is not blocked. The six grids and slides are removable for washing in a sink or dishwasher. The G-GN1200TN-FC is a GN2/1 refrigerated cabinet designed for static cooling in professional kitchens. It is listed in the Forcold catalogue under refrigeration equipment for food storage.
