Milk systems in espresso machines draw milk from the jug, heat it, and dispense it through fine nozzles. Over a service day, milk proteins and fats coat the internal tubing, valves and steam wands, slowing flow and altering taste. A daily cleaning cycle dissolves these deposits before they harden, keeping the milk path clear and hygienic.

Milkpure tabs are placed in the water reservoir or cleaning chamber of the machine. When the cleaning programme is activated, hot water dissolves the tablet and circulates the solution through every part the milk touches. The formulation breaks down milk residues without leaving alkaline or acidic traces that could affect the next drink. After the cycle, a rinse flushes the system, leaving the milk circuit ready for the next service.

Each tablet is pre-dosed at 10 g, removing the need to measure powder or liquid. The 100-tablet pack provides enough for three months of daily cleaning in a typical café setting.
