Induction hobs in vetroceramic.
The ILVE Professional Plus HVI395 is a professional induction hob. It features five cooking zones, each controlled by individual knobs.
Induction hobs work by using an electromagnetic field to directly heat the cookware placed on the surface. When a compatible pan is detected by the pan sensor, an electrical current is passed through a coil beneath the ceramic glass. This current generates a magnetic field, which in turn induces a current within the base of the pan, causing it to heat up rapidly. This method transfers heat directly to the pan, making it an energy way to cook.
Operation involves placing compatible cookware onto one of the five zones. The hob features a booster function, which temporarily increases the power output of a selected zone for faster heating. For safety, the hob includes child safety features and liquid overheating and overflow protection, which will shut down the zone if excessive liquid is detected or if the temperature becomes too high. A residual heat indicator alerts the user when a zone is still hot after use. The hob is induction compatible.
The controls are operated via knobs, allowing for precise adjustment of heat levels. The hob has a maximum power output of 10.4 kW.
Zone 01 offers 2.3 kW of standard power, which can be boosted to 3.0 kW. Zone 02 also provides 2.3 kW standard or 3.0 kW booster power. Zones 03 and 04 have a standard power of 1.4 kW, with a booster option of 1.85 kW. Zone 05, the largest zone, has a diameter of 250 mm and delivers 2.3 kW standard power, or 3.0 kW when using the booster function.
Construction includes liquid overheating and overflow protection. The overall dimensions of the hob are 890 mm in length and 518.5 mm in width.
