Induction hob ILVE HCBI754TC

The ILVE HCBI754TC is a professional plus induction hob with a 75 cm width. Induction hobs operate by using electromagnetic fields to directly heat the cookware placed on the surface. When a compatible pan is placed on a zone, an electrical current is passed through a coil beneath the ceramic glass. This generates a magnetic field that induces eddy currents within the base of the pan, causing it to heat up rapidly. The hob surface itself remains relatively cool, as it is only heated indirectly by the pan. This ILVE hob features four cooking zones. These include a 145 mm zone with a power output of 1.4 kW, two OCTA 190x210 mm zones each capable of 2.1 kW or 3.0 kW, and a 200 mm zone with a power output of 2.3 kW or 3.0 kW. The hob has a pan sensor that detects the presence of cookware, providing heat only when a suitable pan is in place. A booster function is available to temporarily increase the power output of a zone for faster heating. For safety, it includes a child safety lock and a residual heat indicator that shows when a zone is still hot after use. The slide touch controls allow for intuitive operation, and a timer with an automatic stop function can be set for precise cooking durations. The bridge function allows two adjacent zones to be combined for use with larger cookware. The hob has a maximum power consumption of 7.4 kW. Its dimensions are 748 mm in length, 518.5 mm in width, and 54 mm in height. Cleaning involves wiping the ceramic glass surface after use, particularly once it has cooled. The pan sensor, booster function, child safety lock, residual heat indicator, timer, automatic stop, slide touch controls, overheating protection, liquid spill protection, and bridge function are all integrated features for enhanced cooking and safety. This model is listed in the catalogue for induction hobs by Ilve.
