An ice-cream showcase keeps frozen product at serving consistency by circulating chilled air across every tub. A refrigeration coil beneath the deck pulls heat from the air; a fan draws the cooled air up through vents at the back, then pushes it forward across the glass front. The constant flow prevents warm spots and ice crystals, so each scoop stays smooth and creamy without hardening or thawing.
The operator loads tubs into the well, closes the sliding glass lid and sets the thermostat to the required holding temperature. Once the unit reaches set-point, the compressor cycles automatically to maintain the range. A transparent canopy and internal LED lighting let customers see every flavour while the cold air curtain minimises fogging.
The 1950 mm wide cabinet is built on a welded aluminium frame clad in stainless steel panels. The sliding lid runs on nylon rollers for quiet, smooth operation. A digital controller mounted on the right end panel displays the current temperature and allows adjustment within the stated range.
A power rating of 13.0 kW per 24 hours reflects the load on the kitchen circuit; the showcase must be connected to a dedicated 13 A spur protected by an RCD. The 180 kg weight requires two people to move the unit and a stable, level floor to prevent distortion of the frame. The 1950 × 780 mm footprint fits standard worktop depth and leaves room for customer queuing in front.
Cleaning follows from the materials: wipe the stainless steel exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent; remove the sliding lid weekly to wash the glass and defrost the well. The nylon rollers need occasional lubrication with food-safe grease to keep the lid gliding smoothly.
The YK-1RK7 is a single-deck, single-temperature showcase; no variants are listed.
The product sits in the MAWI frozen-display section of the professional refrigeration catalogue.
