The bain-marie system uses warm water to heat the inner vat gently, avoiding scorching or texture changes. The water jacket stabilises the temperature, even when cold chocolate is added or multiple servings are poured in quick succession. To use, fill the bain-marie with water to the level indicated on the gauge glass. Connect the unit to a 230 V power supply and switch it on. Adjust the thermostat to the desired temperature, and the heater will keep it steady. Add pre-mixed chocolate milk to the inner vat and allow it to warm. Once ready, the chocolate can be dispensed continuously. The gauge glass allows easy monitoring of the water level, so you can top up as needed. Constructed with a stainless-steel outer casing and inner vat, the HCM 510 is durable and simple to clean. Its dimensions of 290 by 438 millimetres suit most work surfaces or a mobile stand for flexible serving. With a power rating of 2.85 kilowatts, it requires a suitable electrical connection in a professional setting. The non-stick bain-marie lining lets cocoa residue slide off with a damp cloth after each service. After use, empty the inner vat and wipe it with a damp cloth. Drain the bain-marie water via the tap at the base, then clean the outer surfaces with a mild detergent. Regularly check the gauge glass to ensure it stays clear. The adjustable thermostat lets you set the exact temperature for different styles of hot chocolate, from rich and thick to light and warm. The visible water gauge helps maintain efficient heating, preventing overheating and ensuring even heat distribution.
