Gas gyros-grill LPG (PG1302) or natural gas (PG1303)
A gas gyros maker rotates a vertical skewer over an open flame, letting the meat cook evenly while fat drips away. The skewer turns slowly, exposing every side to the heat so the outer layer crisps while the inside stays juicy. A perforated fat tray catches the drippings below, keeping the worktop clean and reducing flare-ups.
Load the skewer by stacking the meat onto the central rod, securing it with the skewer plate at the base. Once the gas is lit and the flame adjusted, the motor starts the skewer spinning at one revolution per minute. The operator watches the colour and texture, turning the gas up or down to control the cooking speed. When the meat is ready, it is sliced directly from the skewer onto serving plates.
The unit is built in stainless steel, including the fat tray and perforated sheet. A gas burner rated at 10.5 kW provides the heat, and the connection is made for either LPG or natural gas, depending on the model chosen. The skewer itself is 695 mm long, with a base plate 195 mm in diameter, and the whole assembly stands 920 mm tall when the motor is fitted.
A 10.5 kW gas load requires a dedicated supply line and proper ventilation in the kitchen. The 40 kg maximum meat weight lets the operator cook large batches without reloading, while the 450 mm maximum meat height keeps the stack stable on the skewer. The footprint of 510 mm by 590 mm fits into most professional worktops, and the stainless steel construction resists corrosion and is easy to wipe down after service.
Cleaning involves removing the fat tray and perforated sheet, washing them separately, and wiping the stainless steel surfaces. The skewer and plate are taken off for thorough cleaning, and the gas burner is brushed to keep the ports clear.
Two versions are available: PG1302 for LPG and PG1303 for natural gas.
The product appears in the catalogue under professional gas grills and rotisseries.
