A foamer head draws cold milk from a jug and forces it through a small aperture while injecting pressurised steam. The steam heats the milk and creates a vortex that whips air into the liquid, turning it into microfoam. The double outlet design allows two streams to be frothed at once, each controlled by its own valve so that one barista can prepare multiple drinks simultaneously.

The operator attaches the foamer head to the espresso machine's steam wand, secures the steam valve in the open position, and places the tip of each outlet into separate milk jugs. Cold milk is drawn up through the outlets, heated by the steam, and frothed to the desired consistency. Once the milk reaches the correct temperature and texture, the steam valve is closed and the jugs are removed.
