A refrigerated display cabinet keeps chilled food visible and safe without breaking the cold chain. Static cooling circulates air naturally around the shelves, drawing heat away from the products and maintaining an even temperature throughout the cabinet. This method avoids the noise and vibration of forced-air systems, making it suited to front-of-house use where presentation matters as much as preservation. The refrigeration unit, connected by a flexible line, removes the heat from the cabinet and expels it at a distance, so the display stays cool while the kitchen remains comfortable for staff and customers.
The cabinet is loaded from the front through sliding glass doors. Each of the three shelves can be adjusted in height to fit different product sizes, and the doors lift off for thorough cleaning. LED strips above and below each shelf cast an even light across the products, highlighting colours and textures without adding heat. An electronic thermostat keeps the temperature between +2 and +6 °C, the range that keeps perishable food safe while allowing it to be served immediately. The digital display shows the current temperature, and hidden sensors prevent accidental changes to the setting.
The body is built from stainless steel with tempered glass panels on the front and sides. The glass is treated to resist scratches, impacts and cleaning chemicals, and the rounded corners of the cold well simplify wiping down after service. Adjustable legs allow the cabinet to sit level on uneven floors, and the compact footprint fits on most worktops without permanent installation.
Inside, the cabinet holds four GN1/3 gastronorm trays, each 40 mm deep. The trays slide in and out on runners, making restocking quick and keeping the display organised. A drain in the cold well collects condensation, and the entire well lifts out for cleaning. The refrigeration unit is connected by a 2 m line, so it can be placed on the floor or on a shelf below the counter, freeing up worktop space.
The cabinet runs on a 230 V single-phase supply, the standard circuit found in most professional kitchens. The cooling power of 180 W and equipment power of 85 W indicate a modest load on the electrical system, suitable for continuous operation without overloading the circuit. The overall dimensions of 840 mm wide, 395 mm deep and 465 mm high create a slim profile that fits between other countertop appliances or against a wall.
Cleaning involves wiping the glass and steel surfaces daily with a mild detergent, removing the shelves and doors weekly for a deeper clean, and emptying the drain tray to prevent odours. The refrigeration unit requires occasional dusting of the condenser coils to maintain efficiency, but the static cooling system has no fans or filters that need regular replacement.
This model is part of the SAYL LOGIC TRIPLE range, designed for compact countertop use in bakeries, cafés and small restaurants that need to display chilled products attractively while keeping them at a safe temperature.
