This static-cooled cabinet holds six gastronorm trays at a consistent chill that preserves delicate pastries and plated desserts without freezing their textures. The remote cooling unit draws heat from the air inside the cabinet and expels it outside, preventing the display area from warming. Static cooling circulates cold air naturally, avoiding the need for fans that can dry out uncovered products. This method preserves texture and appearance, making it particularly suitable for delicate items like pastries and desserts. The operator loads the six GN1/3 gastronorm trays through sliding glass doors at the front. LED lighting inside the cabinet illuminates the contents evenly, enhancing colour and freshness without generating heat. The hinged glass cover opens upward for full access during restocking or cleaning. Hidden electronic sensors monitor the temperature continuously, adjusting the cooling unit to hold the cabinet between +2 °C and +6 °C. A drainage system integrated into the rounded base collects condensation and spills, directing them to an external outlet for easy removal. The cabinet is constructed from stainless steel with tempered glass panels and a vitrified glass cover. Tempered glass resists impacts and temperature changes, while the vitrified surface withstands scratches, acids and frequent cleaning. The remote cooling unit connects to the display case via a 2-metre refrigerant line, allowing the unit to be positioned in a separate area such as a cupboard or under a worktop. This separation reduces noise and heat in the customer-facing space and frees up room inside the cabinet for more products. A 230 V supply powers both the display case and the remote cooling unit, requiring a standard single-phase circuit. The 180 W cooling power and 90 W equipment power indicate a modest electrical load, suitable for continuous operation in a busy kitchen. The 1190 mm width, 395 mm depth and 245 mm height allow the cabinet to fit along a counter or against a wall, taking up minimal floor space while providing clear visibility of the contents. Cleaning involves wiping the interior with a damp cloth and approved cleaning agents, using the integrated drainage system to flush away residue. The rounded corners and smooth surfaces prevent dirt from accumulating, and the glass cover lifts for thorough access. The static cooling system requires no additional maintenance beyond regular checks of the refrigerant line and sensor calibration.
