The VTLG6SGRP display case is a professional, compact, and stylish cold showcase, specially designed for the presentation of sushi and other cold dishes in restaurants, cafes, and sushi bars. It offers the perfect balance between functionality and design.
Temperature range 0 / +4 ºC
A refrigerated display case built for sushi and delicate chilled foods keeps products at a steady 0 to 4 °C without the noise and heat of an on-board compressor. Instead, a remote cooling unit pumps refrigerant through concealed lines to a static evaporator inside the case. The evaporator draws heat from the air, lowering its temperature while the refrigerant absorbs the heat and carries it away to the remote condenser. Because the condenser sits outside the display area, the case runs quietly and emits no extra warmth into the customer space, making it suitable for open-front counters and small service areas.
The static cooling method circulates air gently, preventing dehydration and preserving the texture and colour of raw fish, rice and garnishes. A double-glazed front panel traps cold air inside, reducing condensation and keeping the glass clear for an uninterrupted view. LED lighting mounted above the shelf highlights the food without adding heat, so the display stays bright and the temperature remains stable.
To use the case, the operator loads prepared items onto the stainless-steel shelf, closes the sliding glass door and sets the thermostat to the desired temperature within the 0–4 °C range. The remote unit starts automatically, maintaining the set point without further adjustment. The case is designed for continuous service, so once loaded it can remain on display throughout the day.
The exterior and interior are constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of sanitising. The worktop measures 1190 mm wide, 380 mm deep and 300 mm high, giving a compact footprint that fits on most counters or wall-mounted brackets.
A single control knob on the front panel adjusts the temperature. The 230 V connection plugs into a standard single-phase circuit, drawing 180 W for cooling and an additional 90 W for the LED lighting and control system.
The 0–4 °C temperature range is tailored for fresh sushi, sashimi and chilled appetisers, keeping them safe and visually appealing without freezing. The 180 W cooling power indicates a light load on the mains, while the 90 W equipment power covers the lighting and electronics. The 1190 mm width allows the case to hold multiple trays side by side, and the 300 mm height keeps the display at eye level for seated customers.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth and approved sanitiser, then drying to prevent water marks. The glass panel slides out for thorough cleaning, and the LED lighting is sealed to protect against moisture. The remote cooling unit requires periodic inspection by a technician to check refrigerant levels and ensure the lines remain sealed.
The model is part of the SAYL LOGIC range, designed for professional food presentation in restaurants, delicatessens and sushi bars.
