Cutlery polisher VEMA AP2091

An automatic cutlery dryer removes moisture from washed cutlery without manual towelling. The unit draws in room air, heats it with an internal element, then forces the warm air through a perforated chamber where the cutlery is held. The air flow evaporates water droplets, leaving the cutlery dry and ready for storage or immediate use. Because the process is continuous and hands-free, it eliminates the labour and inconsistency of hand-drying large volumes of forks, spoons and knives.

To operate the AP2091, the operator loads the washed cutlery into the drying chamber, closes the door and starts the programme. The dryer runs for a preset cycle, circulating heated air until the cutlery is dry. Once the cycle completes, the unit switches off automatically and the cutlery can be removed.

The AP2091 is constructed in stainless steel for durability and hygiene. Its exterior dimensions of 480 mm wide, 380 mm deep and 550 mm high allow it to fit beneath a standard worktop or on a dedicated shelf. The 44 kg weight ensures stability during operation while still permitting two-person movement when required.

The unit requires a 230 V single-phase supply, matching the standard circuit found in most professional kitchens. The 1.33 kW power rating indicates the load it places on the electrical system during operation.

Cleaning involves wiping the interior chamber and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The perforated drying rack should be removed periodically and rinsed to clear any debris that may obstruct air flow.

The AP2091 is categorised under cutlery drying equipment in the professional catering catalogue.
