A refrigerated worktop keeps ingredients chilled while they are prepared, portioned or displayed. Instead of a closed cabinet, the unit uses a static cooling coil beneath the stainless-steel work surface. A small fan circulates air across the coil, drawing heat out of the food pans above and sending it into the coil where the refrigerant absorbs it. The cooled air then rises through the perforated deck, creating an even temperature across every container. This static system avoids the drying effect of forced air, making it particularly suitable for delicate items such as pastries, salads and desserts. The operator loads standard 60×40 cm gastronorm containers onto the runners inside the table. Each pair of runners is spaced at 75 mm intervals, allowing shelves or pans to be positioned at the exact height needed. The 2.8-inch LCD touch panel sets the temperature between +4 °C and +18 °C and adjusts the humidity level from 45% to 65%. Once the settings are confirmed, the unit maintains them automatically. An electronic sensor monitors the internal climate, activating the cooling coil and a small heating element as needed to keep the environment stable. Defrosting is also automatic: the heating element melts any ice that forms on the coil, and the resulting water evaporates without manual intervention. The table is constructed from 15/10 stainless steel, with a 50 mm layer of insulation sandwiched between the inner and outer skins. The worktop is 40 mm thick, providing a rigid surface that resists dents and warping under heavy containers. A technical compartment on the right side houses the compressor, condenser and controls, allowing service access without moving the unit. Seven pairs of runners are included, enabling the interior to be organised for different storage needs. The 404 L capacity allows the table to hold multiple gastronorm containers at once, while the 2100 mm length fits neatly into most kitchen layouts. A power rating of 0.410 kW indicates a modest load on the electrical circuit, suitable for a standard 230 V single-phase supply. The 225 kg weight requires two people to move the unit, and the 770 mm depth leaves enough clearance for the door to open fully without blocking the aisle. The refrigerant R290 is a hydrocarbon with low global-warming potential, aligning with current environmental standards. The seamless stainless-steel worktop and interior panels can be sanitised in seconds with a single wipe, keeping the prep area ready for the next batch of pastry or plated salads. The automatic condensate evaporation system eliminates the need to empty trays, and the smooth interior with rounded corners prevents dirt from accumulating. The runners can be removed for thorough cleaning or repositioned to accommodate larger containers. The table is classified under climatic class 5, meaning it remains stable even when ambient temperatures rise during busy service periods.
