This GEMM TAPN/24S is a refrigerated table designed for professional kitchens. It provides refrigerated storage within a table format, eliminating the need for a separate appliance.

The operating principle involves a refrigeration system that actively removes heat from the interior cavity. This system, identified as HSS cooling technology, circulates a refrigerant (R134a) through an evaporator coil inside the unit. As the refrigerant absorbs heat from the air within the chamber, it turns into a gas. This gas is then compressed and condensed, releasing the heat outside the unit. This continuous cycle maintains the desired low temperature. An automatic defrosting system, utilising heating elements, prevents ice build-up on the cooling surfaces, ensuring consistent performance.

To use the refrigerated table, items are placed inside on the internal shelf runners, which are spaced at 75 mm intervals to accommodate various container sizes, including 60x40 cm. The temperature is set using the 2.8-inch touch-sensitive digital panel, allowing precise control within the 0 °C to 8 °C range.

Constructed from stainless steel, the table features 50 mm thick thermal insulation for energy efficiency. The worktop, also stainless steel, has a height of 40 mm and a thickness of 15/10. The overall dimensions are 2340 mm in length, 770 mm in width, and 860 mm in height. The internal capacity is 539 litres. The technical compartment housing the refrigeration components is located on the right side. The unit operates on a 230 V power supply and has a power consumption of 0.725 kW. It weighs 208 kg.
