Cooktop ILVE KHVI60TC

The ILVE KHVI60TC is a professional induction hob.

Induction hobs operate by using electromagnetic fields to directly heat cookware. When a compatible pot or pan is placed on a zone, the hob generates a magnetic field that causes the metal in the cookware to heat up rapidly. This method transfers heat directly to the vessel, rather than heating a surface that then heats the vessel, leading to quicker cooking times and precise temperature control.

The KHVI60TC features four touch-controlled cooking zones. Two zones measure 145 mm in diameter, each offering a standard power of 1.2 kW which can be boosted to 1.6 kW. The other two zones are larger, with a diameter of 210 mm, providing a standard power of 1.5 kW each, with a booster function available to reach 2 kW.

Operational features include a pot sensor that detects the presence of cookware, a booster function for rapid heating, and a child lock for safety. A residual heat indicator alerts the user when a zone is still hot after use. The integrated timer can be set with an automatic stop function for precise cooking durations. For safety, the hob incorporates overheating and overflow protection.

The hob has a maximum power output of 7.2 kW. It also includes a power limiter, which can be configured to 2.8 kW, 3.5 kW, or 6 kW, allowing the user to adapt the hob's electrical load to their kitchen's supply capacity. The unit measures 590 mm in length and 520 mm in width.
