Gas hobs in stainless steel or enameiled steel.
The ILVE Pro Line hob HCL75SCK is a professional-grade gas hob designed for demanding kitchen environments. This hob features sturdy cast iron grids that provide a stable surface for cookware.
Operating Principle:
Gas hobs provide heat by burning natural gas or LPG. The gas is mixed with air and ignited, producing a flame that directly heats the base of the cookware placed on the grids above the burners. The intensity of the flame can be precisely controlled to manage cooking temperature.
Sequence of Use:
To use the hob, place cookware on the cast iron grids. Turn the control knob for the desired burner to the ignition setting; integrated electric ignition will light the gas. Once lit, the flame can be adjusted infinitely using the same control knob to achieve the required heat level. The safety valve automatically cuts off the gas supply if the flame is accidentally extinguished.
Construction and Controls:
The hob has aluminium burner caps and an enamelled burner cover. The flame is infinitely adjustable, offering precise control over heat. A safety valve is incorporated for added security.
Specifications Explained:
The total power output of the hob is 6.5 kW. Its overall external dimensions measure 750 mm wide by 510 mm long. For installation, the hob requires a cut-out of 72 cm by 48 cm in the worktop. The burner configuration includes one auxiliary burner (40 mm diameter) with power levels of 1 kW and 0.45 kW; one double crown burner (120 mm diameter) providing 4 kW and 1.8 kW; one large burner (95 mm diameter) offering 3 kW and 1 kW; and two small burners (65 mm diameter), each with two power levels: 1.75 kW and 0.7 kW.
Cleaning and Upkeep:
Cleaning involves removing the cast iron grids, aluminium burner caps, and enamelled burner covers for separate cleaning. The hob surface can then be wiped down.
