Lucaffe MR.EXCLUSIVE coffee 250 g
Ground coffee for professional espresso machines begins as whole Arabica beans sourced from distinct growing regions. Each origin contributes a characteristic profile: South American beans bring balanced sweetness, Asian varieties add depth and body, while the small African component introduces subtle aromatic complexity. The beans are roasted to a medium level that preserves their natural sugars and oils, then ground to a consistent particle size that allows hot water to extract the full range of flavours and aromas during brewing.
To prepare, the operator measures the ground coffee into the portafilter basket, distributing it evenly before tamping to create a level, compact puck. When the espresso machine forces pressurised hot water through this bed of coffee, the water dissolves and carries away soluble compounds, oils and aromatic molecules, producing a concentrated shot with a rich crema. The medium body and sweet flavour of this blend emerge from the careful balance of origins, while the intoxicating aroma—reminiscent of newly-baked bread—becomes most pronounced immediately after grinding.
The 250 g pack provides a convenient quantity for professional kitchens, allowing frequent use without excessive storage. The vacuum-sealed packaging preserves freshness by protecting the ground coffee from oxygen, moisture and light, which can degrade flavour and aroma over time. Once opened, the contents should be transferred to an airtight container and used within a short period to maintain peak quality.
This blend consists entirely of Arabica beans, with no Robusta content. The absence of Robusta means a smoother, less bitter profile, making it suitable for espresso-based drinks where clarity of flavour is important. The weight of 0.25 kg indicates a manageable pack size for regular use in cafés, restaurants or catering operations where coffee is prepared in volume but freshness is critical.
