GREDIL 600 Stainless Steel Deep Pot Sinks are essential equipment for cleaning larger HoReCa kitchen equipment. Large pots, frying pans and gastronomic containers require a deeper basin than a standard sink – the GREDIL deep pot sink provides this specialized functionality with AISI304 stainless steel quality and a budget price. BHS supplies GREDIL specialized sinks for HoReCa kitchens.

Deep sink basins – for large dishes and pots

Standard-depth sinks (usually 200-250 mm deep) are not suitable for washing large restaurant pots, frying pans and gastronomic containers – these items cannot be fully immersed or easily tipped for washing in a standard sink basin. GREDIL 600 deep pot sinks are specifically designed with a deepened basin that allows full immersion of large and heavy dishes. A deep basin is also ergonomically superior – large dishes can be washed without splashing water on the floor or surrounding surfaces. Kitchen stock pots with a capacity of 20-100 litres, large restaurant frying pans and large gastronomic containers can be comfortably washed in the deep pot sink.

600 mm basin width – suitable for large-capacity dishes

GREDIL 600 denotes the sink basin’s external width or length – a 600 mm width basin is suitable for washing various sizes of large dishes. This size accommodates standard HoReCa-sized pots, frying pans and GN containers in larger formats. Compared to the 700 mm variant, a 600 mm basin is more compact and suitable for kitchens with limited sink area width. A 600 mm basin is the standard size in the GREDIL deep pot sink series, providing a good balance of functionality and space efficiency.

AISI304 steel for deep pot sinks

GREDIL 600 deep pot sinks are made from AISI304 stainless steel, the only suitable material for food processing equipment washing infrastructure in HACCP systems. The conditions in deep pot sink basins are particularly demanding: high temperature (hot water, steam), aggressive cleaning chemicals (degreaser, disinfectant) and mechanical impact. AISI304 steel is resistant to all these factors – it does not corrode, crack or lose its properties during long-term use. The steel surface is smooth and sealed – there are no places for bacteria to accumulate, neither inside the basin nor on its edges or underside.

HoReCa applications

In restaurant kitchens, where a stock pot with soup base or a braising pan lid is washed after each shift, the GREDIL 600 deep pot sink is a standard part of the infrastructure for washing large dishes. In catering companies, where a large number of large container equipment is involved in the washing process, a deep sink allows for a more efficient washing cycle. In large hotel kitchens with banquet dining, washing large dishes is a daily process, where the GREDIL 600 deep pot sink provides an ergonomic and hygienic washing area. BHS supplies deep pot sinks for HoReCa establishments.

Frequently asked questions

How deep is the bowl of the GREDIL 600 deep pot sinks? The specific bowl depth depends on the model specifications – deep pot sinks are typically 350-500 mm deep, compared to standard 200-250 mm sinks. For precise bowl depth parameters, consult with BHS consultants, who will help you choose the most suitable model based on the height of the largest pots and pans to be washed.

Can the GREDIL 600 deep pot sink be attached to a table, or is it a standalone unit? GREDIL deep pot sinks are available in various configurations – some can be installed on a special stand or legs, while others are integrated into a table set.
