Industrial tumble dryers 11–80 kg

Drying is the most expensive stage of a laundry. Washing consumes water, but it is the dryer that draws energy for hours on end, which is why the difference between classes is noticeable in every monthly bill. The Danube DD series offers four classes from 11 to 80 kg, and the difference between them is not in quality but in control and energy recovery technologies.

These are chosen by laundries, hotels and resorts, hospitals and care homes, equestrian centres, factories, sports clubs and self-service laundries.

Four classes

GOLD ET2 — the most efficient Danube dryer class. The standard includes all energy-saving functions: Air Recycle air recovery, Care Dry moisture control, insulated panels with double-glazed doors and the Optimal Flow airflow system. Danube states that these models allow savings of up to 60% in energy compared to other dryers and significantly shorten cycle time without compromising drying quality. The Sprinkler fire suppression system is included as standard.

SILVER ET2 — the same Easy Touch 2 control with a 7" touchscreen and IoT, but energy-saving functions are available as options rather than as standard. A choice for laundries that want full programmable control and decide for themselves which additional functions they truly need.

BRONZE EM — the same standard functions and capabilities as the SILVER class, but with a simpler EM electronic programmer where time and temperature are selected using buttons. A choice where simplicity for staff is important without losing performance.

BASIC EM — the base class 11–35 kg with the lowest purchase price, a quality alternative to premium models.

Common features across all classes

• Stainless steel cylinder as standard in all classes.
• Reversible cylinder as standard — laundry does not twist in one direction and does not tangle.
• Soft Dry — a cylinder with punched openings that gently handles fabric and does not create snagging points.
• Double Flow mixed axial and radial airflow (enhanced in the GOLD class with Optimal Flow side and front air inlets).
• Cool Down — cooling at the end of the cycle to prevent wrinkling and make subsequent ironing easier.
• Wide-opening doors at 180° and a large-surface filter drawer.
• Electric, gas or steam heating available for all classes.
