Frequently asked questions

How does SILVER differ from BRONZE?

In control and connectivity. The mechanics, cylinder and drying quality are the same, but SILVER allows you to program your own cycles, and the IoT connection lets you monitor the machine remotely.

How does SILVER differ from GOLD?

In energy-saving features. In the GOLD class, Air Recycle air recovery, insulated panels, Care Dry and Sprinkler are standard, and Danube indicates up to 60% energy savings compared to other dryers. In the SILVER class, some of these are available as options. If the machine operates multiple shifts a day, GOLD pays for itself faster.

Is the IoT connection charged extra?

No. The Danube Online connection in the SILVER class is included as standard and free of charge.

What does remote monitoring offer in practice?

You see how many cycles have been completed, what the consumption is and whether the machine is reporting an error. Service can connect faster, and problems can often be spotted before staff call.

Can programs be transferred to other machines?

Yes, via the USB port. If a site has multiple identical dryers, programs only need to be set once.

Is it worth adding Care Dry?

If the volume and types of laundry change daily, yes — the sensor stops the cycle when the laundry is dry, so it is not dried unnecessarily. If the routine is consistent and cycle times are already optimised, the benefit is smaller.

Is an exhaust duct needed?

Yes, the SILVER series requires an air exhaust. Only heat pump dryers can operate without an exhaust.
