A dual-chamber dryer features two independent drying chambers in one cabinet, stacked one above the other. It occupies the floor space of a single machine but operates as two: one chamber can dry bed linen while the other handles towels, each running separate programmes and cycles.
Danube STD XP is the new generation of this series. Danube indicates that XP models are more powerful, with significantly shorter cycle times, more durable and quieter, and offer easier access to components for maintenance. Available capacities are 11, 14, 18 and 22 kg per chamber.
These are chosen by self-service laundries, hotels with limited laundry space, guesthouses, sports clubs and facilities where drying capacity needs to be doubled without increasing floor area.
SILVER XP ET2 — Easy Touch 2 control with a 7" touchscreen and standard IoT connectivity, fully programmable. The widest range of options, including Care Dry moisture control and Sprinkler fire suppression system.
BRONZE XP EM — the same quality and XP-generation mechanics, but with a simple EM electronic programmer where time and temperature are selected via buttons.
BASIC XP EM — the base class with the lowest purchase price.

How does a dual-chamber dryer differ from two separate ones?
A dual-chamber dryer is a factory-built unit with two chambers in one cabinet and a shared frame. Two separate dryers stacked in a column are two machines, each with its own cabinet. The dual-chamber version is usually more compact, easier to install and less expensive than two separate units.
Can both chambers operate simultaneously with different programmes?
Yes. Each chamber has its own control and cycle, so one can dry bed linen while the other handles towels or workwear.
Which class should I choose?
SILVER XP if you want programmable programmes, remote monitoring or moisture control. BRONZE XP if staff only need time and temperature selection — the mechanics are the same. BASIC XP if the purchase price is the deciding factor.
What does XP mean?
It is the new generation of Danube dual-chamber dryers. Compared to the previous generation, they are more powerful with shorter cycle times, more durable and quieter, and offer easier access to components for maintenance.
Is an exhaust duct required?
Yes, the STD XP series requires an air exhaust. If installing a duct is not possible, consider heat pump dryers.
How much space is needed?
The floor area is approximately the same as for a single dryer of the corresponding capacity, but the height is greater since the chambers are stacked. When planning, always check the room height and door opening dimensions for delivery.
