High-extraction industrial laundry machines 11–120 kg
High extraction is the main way to reduce laundry costs. The less water remains in the laundry after extraction, the shorter the drying cycle — and drying consumes the most energy. The Danube WED series offers one of the highest G-factors on the market, from 11 kg up to 120 kg per load.
These machines are chosen by laundries, large hotels and resorts, hospitals and care homes, factories, sports clubs, equestrian centres and self-service laundries — wherever both output and energy consumption matter.
Two sub-series
WED 11-14-18-22-28 ET2 — freestanding machines from 11 to 28 kg with a G-factor of 500 for models from 11 to 18 kg and 450 for models 22 and 28 kg. Extraction speed from 1024 to 1300 rpm.
WED 35C-45C-60C-80C-100C-120C ET2 — large-capacity machines from 35 to 120 kg with a G-factor of 450 for models from 60C to 80C and 350 for models 100C and 120C. Compact dimensions allow them to fit even in limited space.
Key advantages
- No floor anchoring required — both sub-series are freestanding, so no special foundation is needed.
- Easy Touch 2 with 7" touchscreen — fully programmable microprocessor, 20 preset programs and 37 available languages.
- IoT and telemetry as standard and free of charge — Danube Online allows real-time monitoring of washing parameters, consumption and full process traceability.
- Stainless steel AISI 304 — both the drum and the laundry cylinder.
- 8 dosing pump signals, expandable to 14, and 3 water connections as standard.
- Optimal Loading — automatic or manual adjustment of water level and detergents to the actual load.
- Water Saving with three configurable economy levels.
- Wet Cleaning as standard — programmable water levels and washing speed for delicate laundry and wool.
- Ready for Aquabac connection — water regeneration tanks allow reuse of washing water.
- Wide aluminium loading doors and USB port for data and program import or export.

Frequently asked questions
What does the G-factor mean and why is it important?
The G-factor characterises the centrifugal force during extraction. The higher it is, the less moisture remains in the laundry and the shorter the dryer needs to work. This directly reduces electricity bills and increases laundry output.
How does WED differ from the WEN series?
WED offers high extraction with a G-factor of 350–500 and a freestanding design. WEN provides standard extraction with a G-factor of 200 and requires floor anchoring — lower purchase cost but longer drying times.
Does the machine need to be secured to the floor?
No. The entire WED series is freestanding and does not require anchoring.
Which capacity should I choose?
A rough guide: 11–28 kg for hotels, care homes and medium-sized facilities; 35–45 kg for small laundries; 60–120 kg for industrial laundries with large daily volumes.
Is it possible to save water?
Yes. The Water Saving system with three levels, Optimal Loading and Aquabac water regeneration tanks together significantly reduce water consumption per cycle.
Can the machine be connected to steam?
Yes, a steam kit is available for conversion of electric or hot water models (WED-35C to 80C), as well as combined electric and steam heating for 60C and 80C models.
