A display refrigerator keeps chilled goods visible while maintaining a steady low temperature. A compressor circulates refrigerant through a coil; the refrigerant absorbs heat from the cabinet and releases it outside. A fan draws air over the coil and distributes it evenly across every shelf, preventing warm spots and ensuring consistent cooling. This method allows the unit to hold products at a safe, attractive temperature without drying them out or causing frost build-up.

The SD 881 BHE is loaded from the front. The operator opens one or both hinged doors, places bottles, packs or trays on the wire shelves, and closes the doors. The self-closing mechanism pulls the doors shut automatically, minimising cold loss. A digital control panel on the outside sets the temperature between 0 °C and 10 °C; the display confirms the current reading. Two vertical LED strips illuminate the interior, highlighting the products and making them easy to see from a distance.

The cabinet is built from sheet steel finished in black. Eight wire shelves, each 374 mm deep and 436 mm wide, can be repositioned at different heights to suit various pack sizes. Four castors allow the unit to be rolled into place without lifting. The doors are fitted with locks to secure the contents overnight or during cleaning.

A 437 litre volume provides ample space for beverages, pre-packaged foods or chilled desserts. The 870 mm width and 605 mm depth fit within a standard worktop run, while the 2000 mm height allows the top to be used as additional shelf space. A weight of 103 kg means the refrigerator can be moved by two people or a trolley. The 230 V single-phase supply matches the standard socket circuit found in most commercial kitchens and retail areas.

The eight adjustable shelves are removed for cleaning; the wire construction allows water and detergent to drain through. The LED strips are sealed and require no maintenance. The castors should be checked periodically for wear and tightened if they become loose.

The SD 881 BHE is available in black. An optional illuminated canopy can be added to the top for branding or promotional graphics.
