A service trolley built for the organised flow of a professional kitchen, the ROCAM ARIANNA S carries plated dishes, glassware or ingredients between stations without occupying permanent worktop space. Two solid-wood shelves ride on four swivel castors, allowing the trolley to pivot and manoeuvre through narrow aisles and around tight corners. The lower shelf is fixed at a convenient height for loading, while the upper shelf keeps items within easy reach of waiting staff or chefs moving between prep and pass.

The principle is simple: a rigid frame of solid wood supports the shelves, and the castors convert the trolley into a mobile unit that can be positioned exactly where it is needed. Because the shelves are open, air circulates freely, preventing condensation on plates or glasses. The swivel castors allow the trolley to turn on the spot, so it can be brought flush against a wall or island without needing extra clearance. When stationary, the brakes on two of the castors lock the trolley in place, preventing drift during service.

To use the trolley, the operator loads the shelves with the items to be transported, engages the brake on the two fixed castors, and pushes the trolley to the required station. Once in position, the brake is released if further movement is needed, or left engaged to keep the trolley secure. The push handles are shaped to give a firm grip without snagging on clothing or aprons, and the metal end-caps protect the wood from knocks.

Construction is solid wood throughout, chosen for its natural resistance to kitchen moisture and its ability to absorb minor impacts without denting. The shelves are gently curved at the front, a detail that prevents items from sliding forward when the trolley is in motion. Four swivel castors are fitted as standard; two of them include brakes. The castors are mounted on metal plates that are screwed directly into the wood, ensuring the load is spread evenly across the frame.

Controls are limited to the brake levers on the two fixed castors. Each lever is pressed down to lock the castor and lifted to release it. No electrical supply or programming is required.

The stated weight of 24 kg means the trolley can be lifted by one person for cleaning or storage, yet it remains stable when fully loaded. The footprint of 775 mm by 594 mm allows the trolley to fit through standard kitchen doorways and alongside most worktops. The height of 900 mm places the upper shelf at a comfortable working level for most adults, reducing the need to bend or stretch.

Cleaning is straightforward: the solid wood can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish. The castors should be checked periodically for debris that might impede movement, and the brake mechanism should be tested to ensure it holds securely. The metal parts—brake levers, castor plates and push-handle caps—can be cleaned with a stainless-steel polish to maintain their appearance.

The ARIANNA S is available in three standard wood finishes: natural, walnut and wenge. Other colours can be requested. Optional extras include a large drawer with an extractable integrated shelf, upper retaining bars in chromed wire steel, a set of two extra chilling packs, an extractable shelf, and a sabrage kit. Castor options allow the trolley to be fitted with either two or four braked castors, or four silicone castors for quieter movement.
